The short version: this website does not track you, and anything you send us is used to reply to you and nothing else.
Who we are
Spooky Digital Ltd, registered in England and Wales (company number 17479524). Registered office: 12 Oak Close, Bedworth, CV12 9AJ, United Kingdom.
We are responsible for the personal information described on this page. You can reach us at[email protected] or by post at our registered office.
What we collect
- When you use our contact form: your name and email address, plus anything else you choose to give us: your company, phone number, what you need and your message.
- When you email, call or message us: your contact details and whatever you tell us.
- When you simply visit: nothing that identifies you. The site sets no cookies of its own and runs no analytics, advertising or tracking. Our host processes technical information, such as IP addresses, to deliver the pages and keep the site secure.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and talk about your project. We rely on our legitimate interest in answering people who contact us, or on steps you have asked us to take before entering into a contract.
- To keep the website and the contact form secure and free of spam, which is also a legitimate interest.
We do not sell your information, and we will not add you to any mailing list without asking you first.
Who helps us
A few trusted providers handle information for us, only to provide their service:
- Cloudflare hosts this website and runs Turnstile, the check that keeps spam out of the contact form. Turnstile looks at technical information about your browser and device to tell people from bots.
- Resend delivers messages sent through the contact form to our inbox.
- Google (Google Workspace) runs our email.
- If you message us on WhatsApp, WhatsApp's own privacy policy applies to that service.
Some of these providers are based, or run servers, outside the UK. Where your information leaves the UK, it is protected by the safeguards UK data protection law requires, such as an adequacy decision or the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not lead to work: up to two years, then deleted.
- If you become a client: for as long as we need it for the work and to meet our legal and accounting obligations, usually six years after the work ends.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, object to how we use it, or send it to someone else. Email [email protected]or call 07983 644446. We will reply within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would appreciate the chance to put things right first.
Cookies
This website sets no cookies of its own and uses no analytics or advertising cookies, which is why there is no cookie banner. The only outside service on the page is Cloudflare Turnstile on the contact form, used purely for security.
Links and children
Links to our products and to other websites take you to sites with their own privacy policies. This website is for businesses and is not aimed at children.
